    how do I change screen resolution?

    i have a toshiba 660CDT and i tried to change the resolution using
    knoppix screen=800x600 but it wont work.
    the problem is that i can't see the whole screen so i can't even use the expert startup.
    what can i do????

    Framebuffer? VGA?

    Would one of the framebuffer options or a VGA option work? Look here for all the cheatcodes.
