There has been a spate of increased spam recently. If you haven't seen it, it's because the mods are doing such a brilliant job. A big thanks to them.

Today I put several new measures in place to block these spammers from registering in the first place and deleted in excess of 13,000 accounts. If a new member is from a known bad IP (listed on the main spam databases) they'll get prevented from opening an account. If they get past that and open an account, there are other measures to spot and block them which, for security reasons, I won't go into here. This will greatly reduce spam attempts.

It is unlikely any genuine posters will get blocked but if that happens, please email webmaster @ this domain or, if you are able to send a PM, I would prefer PM contact. Thanks.
