This is to confirm that on a LiveUSB made using a Knoppix 7.2 LiveCD,
if 'Ripples' is among the checked selections under Random Screen Saver,
it will cause failures of both knoppix & root lxterminal background
preference settings with some video hardware.

These failures may be reset using Main Menu > Knoppix > Restart Desktop
or avoided by UN-checking the Ripples selection on the Random Screen Saver
gui available at Main Menu > Preferences > Screensaver.

Using Main Menu > System Tools > System Profiler > Display, my particular
hardware seems to be:
Renderer: Mesa DRI Mobile Intel® GM45 Express Chipset x86/MMX/SSE2
Version : 2.1 Mesa 9.1.3

This minor annoyance also occurred in earlier versions of Knoppix.
