Boots but then no response from mouse or keyboard

Try with different cheatcodes (read them, they are in your KNOPPIX folder). For example boot with: knoppix pci=irqmask=0x0e98 or with knoppix pci=bios or knoppix nomodeset

Tried those and some others, nomodeset gets my mouse working but the graphics has gone weird but it is a start. Thanks.
