Lenovo X240

Hi Guys, I have just made a CD and thumbdrive of Knoppix 7.7.1 The usb drive works on all of my machines, 2x laptops and one desktop but not on the Lenovo Laptop. It is strange because I can see it and point to it but after about 5-10 seconds into the boot it freezes. Also the Laptop will let me boot from the CD I made so it does not seem to be a Linux issue.
Any ideas out there.
