Very difficult: all you're doing is changing the boot order. If there's no CD in the drive it'll boot from the first hard drive (or whatever you tell it to). If you just change that one setting, you'll be fine.

If you want to be super sure, and assuming your system works OK now just make a note of the bios settings.
