no GUI ???

hi,
i install konoppix sucssesfull on my harddisc and it was running fine.
But today i started linux and he was booting and after entering runlevel 5
he ask me for login and then for the password (in text mode). After i enter the right login and password he did not started the GUI instead he ask me again for login and password and always he keeps telling me the login and password are correct.

pleas can anyone help me ?

There should be an error message in there somewhere. Can you copy it and paste it?

Alternatively, there may be some thing in /var/log/XFree86.0.log
