HDD install

hi i'm a newbie in the process of conversion from bill's nasty empire, I've just downloded the latest iso which runs fine and connects through my cable modem. I also ran the hdd install but i can't find my modem. any help with the setting-up of konquerer would be appreciated.
Ps: both versions of konquerer have the same settings.

No, ran Konsole and used it all working now Thanx.

rickenbacherus is right. run netcardconfig as root tand tell us what happens.
