I'm a new Knoppix user and so for I'm very impressed. Almost every piece of hardware I've thrown at it has worked first time, even things I can't get Winblow$ to use.

I have a question though. I'm trying to use a simple floppy config setup and as such have a few files on my desktop which get backed up. Is there a maximum size of file you can backup from the desktop? The reason is I'm hoping to syncronise my Palm Polit with KOrganiser (which works OK) but keep the details backed up on my Knoppix config floppy. When I backup the desktop I'm told there is 560K of data and no errors are reported but the file is missing after a reboot.

Any thoughts?
