MBR Jammed

I run knx form the CD and it works just fine, so i tried the hdd install, but every time I finish installing to HD ( no errors ), and then reboot, lots of '40404040404040...' just keep appearing in the screen,...something went wrong with LILO (MBR) .

Please any help will be appreciated

Did you make the boot floppy? If so boot with it and post your /etc/lilo.conf file. Or you can boot the Knoppix disc, mount the partition that you installed Knopppix to and post your /etc/lilo.conf that way.
