Knoppix and SAA7134 Phillips TV-Tuner support?

Is it possible to build the kernel with support for saa7134 type tv-tuner cards, like Terratec TV-400, so that eg. xawtv can be used with the tuner?

I haven't tried this sort of thing for a while, and never on Knoppix. But you can probably just build the kernel module (http://bytesex.org/saa7134/) and load it. Since Knoppix includes xawtv I guess the necessary support modules must already be there.

I would be interested to see any report of success using this (I have a such a card which I have not tried to run with linux yet).
