I am running with Knoppix 3.1 from CD rom it self. Smb server have been configured properly as per the below steps. But i m not able to access my knoppix share from windows machine. As soon as i try to access that particullar share it ask for the password i have tried all the password including root and knoppix and also tried by creating a new user account. but problem is as it is.

Steps to configure samba server over knoppix :

Step 1.
Run command over terminal window.
"sudo /etc/init.d/samba start"

Step 2.
add users with "smbpasswd -a knoppix".

Step 3.
Restart samba using command
sudo /etc/init.d/samba restart
please, help me if you can find the solution of my prob.
