My Asante FriendlyNet X-wing 802.11b pcmcia card is working VERY well. Knoppix picked it up on boot (hdinstalled) and I have sucessfully connected to my wifi network with it.
My question:
Is there a way to make this card support monitor mode for use with Kismet or Airsnort?
I've tried using lvnet to configure the card, but there is no monitor mode option, and I've configured the kismet.conf to use 'generic' whenever possible.
I'm obviously a Linux newbie (going on 3 weeks now) - any help would be greatly appreciated!
