What does 30+ remasters say about Knoppix?
There is an almost staggering list of Knoppix remasters, and I'm wondering if this is a Good Thing or a Bad Thing, from Knoppix's point of view?

good thing : more and more reasons for regular users to use linux (for example the american army iso from gentoo with knoppix cloop)
good thing : people can see ,one can actually USE knoppix
in the future maybe knoppix as a software distribution platform :
integrate your application directly with the os. (such as america's army game) . Would be nice for game developers ... . Turn every pc into playstation
bad thing : chaos could be created => no one knows which distribution was used to create the remaster

BTW, I just located a new remaster
Echelonlinux
It's been added to the customisations page.

"kix" may have been the first but since it had no remastering info I think that eadz is the one that started all the spin-offs and I think all the remasters and forks are a good thing
I know I spent a few hours looking at this :

Now we have this web site full of great info and it's growing fast. Thanks eadz
