Knoppix-2003-07-25EN when booted from CD results in kernel panic. This is true both without boot parameters and booting in failsafe mode. This began after adding the first hard drive to the secondary IDE channel. The error message begins with:
ataraid/d0: <1> Unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereferenced at virtual address 00000000.
Raid is not being used on this machine.

It looks like 2003-07-25 has Promise RAID autodetection and prior versions do not. Perhaps this is the problem? Where can I get 2003-07-24? The mirror sites only have 07-25 and 07-26 listed.
