onboard sound not detected

I have an intel chipset, with onboard sound, ethernet, usb, etc...
I got the ethernet configured, but i need to get my sound working. How do I do this?

Open Konsole and type command: dmesg

Look for something like below.

es1371: found chip, vendor id 0x1274 device id 0x5880 revision 0x03
es1371: found es1371 rev 3 at io 0xb000 irq 5
es1371: features: joystick 0x0

Copy es1371 to /etc/modules file. [This is mine, yours will be different]

Reboot - Will load your sound driver.

Then enable it in Control Center.
