Umm, i guess so, but you would have to do some adjusting to the source of the installer (as it's in C). on www.sf.net/projects/morphix you can download the source through cvs, but i must note that i havn't updated lately, it's in a state of flux. Note also that the whole module-stuff is invisible for both the user and the installer, so it might work, to some extent...

I'm working on that getting-it-easy stuff, and i must say that i have some scripts to facilitate. a minimodule-generator, that has a CLI-step-for-step based way to generate the directory structure of a minimod. Also, i have a small module-building script, that lets you create a compressed image from an unpacked dir in a simple manner (works as well with knoppix-cloop images, with the -h option). They are online, built to get simple tasks done faster. I hope to be able to make some more scripts soon, any ideas are welcome as always.

Must thank you all for using morphix, as without all those posts and e-mails i'd might be working on a different project now! Every time i think: "what am i doing?" or "why should i do this?" i get an email from someone thanking me for what i am doing. Well, that answers those questions

Good luck with trying to intergrate the installer, if you need help just let me know, i'll commit the latest source shortly

found quite a few bugs in the installer, and added some lilo-options. Have to test, but trust me: it'll be worth it

wine is in the heavy and kde modules afaik, i havn't checked PPP yet. you can also throw such ideas up on the wishlist, as i don't re-read a thread when i'm fixing things

Yes, all modules have been adapted and uploaded, morphix 0.3-2 is available for everyones pleasure! More fixes, more bugs, more apps, more cruft!

Note: i added the q3demo, but it doesn't start right (grmlz proprietary software), i'll upload a new game-module tomorrow :P

The changelog:

base:
- added swap,
- fstab generating,
- some cleanups. tried autofs, but couldn't get it to work, together with ipv6 todo in 0.3-3

main modules:
- heaps of gtkinstall+postinstall bugs fixed, you can now actually make a new user
- added a few extra options (lilo-choices).
- Organised the install so you boot with kdm/gdm after a heavy/kde install

light:
- not much new stuff here, just 0.3-1 with the new installer

heavy:
- +gdm, +vlc

kde:
- +kdm, +quanta, +gaim, +gimp

game:
- +q3demo, -q2-files

bare:
- +pump, +installer, +lilo,
- more of a bare module with all deb's installed for hdinstall (hopefully)

Is Gaim missing? hmm, this is bad, i'll throw it up for the next release next week, might have accidentially removed it, sorry!

currently Wine is only in the KDE and Heavy modules, but it isn't something for light. In the future including new apps to a module will be easier (using the minimodule generator), but for now you'll have to choose...
