Cant boot knoppix!

Hello, imwith a problem,i put the knoppix cd into the drive and it loads,then the menu Boot: appears and i press ENTER(shall i?i want to use livecd) but then a black screens appears..and the knoppix isnt loaded,can any1 explain mehow plz? thnx! maybe i need to write someting on the boot: ?

A page of cheat codes a couple you may want to try knoppix testcd and knoppix noddc at the boot: prompt post the details of your hardware if you would it makes it easier to help.

What other cheat codes have you used on the machines? For the athlon you may want to try xmodule=nv alsa for the p4 xmodule=sis mem=960M also try just failsafe on both machines to boot with minimal hardware detection.
