we have a nt4 server at home (running msproxy 2.0)

my pc (knoppix 3.2 & win2k)

ip: 10.2.1.8
workgroup: workgroup

i managed to see the nt server and have mounted some networkdrives (mp3 and so) in my knoppix session.
the problem is i can't connect to internet, on win2k i had to install msproxy client (after i installed that i can connect to internet using IE (without using a proxy in options )
i tried everything, i even tried installing msproxy client on knoppix using wine LOL ( that didn't work DUH !!)
my hosts table is ok it has the server(10.2.1.1) in it and i(10.2.1. am too.
i would like to change my domain name (where can i change that ??)
if anyone has succeeded in connecting to internet plz tell me how u did
