host neme lookup failure problem

I'm using a cable ISP connecting thrugh a pptp dailer

in a connection procedure I'm getting a
"cable.netvision.net.il :host neme lookup failure"

dhcp worked fine and there is a eth0 block in ifconfig.

what is the problem?
and of course it's solve ...

Check /KNOPPIX/etc/resolv.conf

There might not be a nameserver specified.
