DHCP Self-serve
I wrote a simple PERL script that can 'listen' to a network and assign an IP to a network interface where there is no DHCP server available. This has been extremely useful to me while working in a University environment where I need to plug my laptop into networks without knowing the proper network configurations. I think that a feature like this would be a great addition to the Knoppix CD. What do you think?
