printer doesnt work under star office

Hi,
after linux-installation my printer canon bjc6000 works fine under
konqueror-browser.It also prints a testpage during the printer setup.
But it doesn't work under star office or emacs and I can't configure it.
Anybody knows something about.

My StarOffice prints OK!

Try upgrading or installing following packages:

apt-get install foomatic-bin foomatic-db foomatic-db-engine
foomatic-db-gimp-print foomatic-filters cupsys-driver-gimpprint cupsys gs gimpprint-locales libcupsimage2 gs-esp
libcupsys2

chmod 755 /dev/lp0
chmod 755 /dev/ttyS*
