boot from a usb cd-rom

Hallo.
My laptop is bootable from a cd-rom, but when start to boot with Knoppix the process go to stop because "can't find filesystem, sorry".
The cd-rom go from Usb port.
Is there a system to start Knoppix? (Ther'is not a floppy disk in my laptop)

I do not know about KNOPPIX on laptops but try
the following until a real expert comes along.

If you keep trying and get no where, post this
in the KnoppixForum>>Laptops section.

1) Be sure the KNOPPIX disk is burned correctly.
Can you try it on a friends computer to see if
it will work there to prove it is good.

2) Post here more about your computer: memory,
processor, type

3) What does to BIOS say. Boot form CD,
Boot form USB CD, Boot from USB Floppy?

You will like KNOPPIX once you get it going!
