Help needed on knoppix documentation in english

Hello!
i am highly impressed by the work done in knoppix. Being a computer science student i am deeply interested in the underlying details of the knoppix. So i am in need of english documentation(how distribution is made and how they handeld it to create a bootable disk) of knoppix which i am not able to find. moreover, i will be glad if the link to any source code of knoppix is given to me.
