Firsh of all, i don't really know where my queston belongs, but since it have nothing to do vuth knoppix, this seems to be the right place.

I have before build, boot / root disk set's but now i'm thinking about making a boot/ root cd. But i'm not quite sure how to to this.

One way is to use lilo, and then set the root to point on my cdrom drive. But i don't like that, because if i then want to use the cd with another computer, that computer then also have to have the cd'rom drive on the same place.

I want to make a boot / root cd that can ve usefull, iindependely of there the cdrom drive is at the controler.
Now how do i do this?
