Knoppix 3.3 will not mount HD on a Toshiba Laptop

This is still an issue with Knoppix 3.6-2004-08-16 on Toshiba laptop. Even tried 2.6 Kernel.

It boots fine with default startup but no Hard Drives. hda: unknown partition table still displays.

I am still trying to get the 2003-06-06 version downloaded,

Using NODMA NOSCSI bootup options stalls the boot totally at "creating /etc/fstab"

Anyone found a workaround with the later versions of Knoppix for Toshiba Laptops?

if you just get into knoppix then its no problem. Then just have hdparm reread the partitiontable and then you can mount your drives, think its something like hdparm -z hda but better look that up cause im not shure.
