Maybe this would be a bit off topic but here goes.

i am trying out L.A.S. knoppix Linux, has the same boot sequence as knoppix exactly as i can see.

My problem is that my USB wheelmouse freezes when the window manger comes up. So i can not use the GUI. All else works fine.

The boot sequence recognises the correct mouse in the begining.

Ant pointers would be appriciated.
