Try :
mkdir -p /usr/lib/mozilla-cvs/plugins
Then install j2re1.4
Hello,
I'm trying to install the j2sdk but I always get a strange error massage
Richte j2re1.4 ein (1.4.0.99beta-1) ...
update-alternatives: unable to make /usr/lib/mozilla-cvs/plugins/javaplugin_oji.so.dpkg-tmp a symlink to /etc/alternatives/javaplugin_oji-mozilla-cvs.so: Datei oder Verzeichnis nicht gefunden
it is trying to open some file, but it can't.
What does the Mozilla have do to with it?
I got a fairly clean HDD install of Knoppix3.3 running.
removing mozilla doesn't make any change....
some kind of package dependencies??
Lars
