Remastering: How to get links into /knoppix/.kde/Autostart ?

In what /source (i.e. mastering) directory do I place my links,
such that they will be copied to /knoppix/.kde/Autostart when
I remaster ?
Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I'm still somewhat of a
Knoppix novice and I've been working on this all day .

Hi,

Please be a specific a possible about what you are doing --
since there are many levels and types of instalation.

Are you "remastering" i.e. making you own bootable
KNOPPIX CD?

When you want to autorun some programs, one can create a script and put it in the directory /etc/rc5.d/ (This only loads items before X loads)

If you want something to run after X and KDE start, it might work
to put /.kde/Autostart/YourFile in /etc/skel
But this is only a guess I have never tried it.

Hopfully someone who is a wizard of remastering will come
along.
