ok i am new in linux i got compaq armada 1700 /6233/t/4000/d/m1 64 mb of ram would like to instal linux on this laptop does anyone know whot aplication i can used or tere is any chance to instal knoppix on this laptop i downloaded and burned cd whit knoppix but it wont to run i kep gething error no enought memory for kde aplication try to use swap partition or something like that i tried this cd whit knoppix on my other machine and its work perfect boots loads i got desktop and i configurated internet conection works perfect who ever made this hi or they did wonderfol job so anyone can help me to instal knoppix on my laptop..........[/b]
