Hello,

I have a weird problem with my custom knoppix. After several modifications, my CD's stopped auto-ejecting the CD-ROM writing the message :
"cannot eject cd-rom yet"
multiple times.

It seems i can force umount -f /cdrom, It dissapear from the mount and df command, but ls /cdrom still shows it is not unmounted. Besides eject gives me an error message.

I thought some process used the CD-ROM but lsof doesn't show any open file on /cdrom.

Has anybody an idea on what to do now?
