Kiosk

I'm creating a simple kiosk. The final things I need to sort out is:

1) How to configure Knoppix to skip the boot: prompt (so users don't have to press enter)
2) How to bypass the login/password confirmation screen (so users don't have to type those respectable items)

I'd be very happy if someone can help me, a n00b.

If it boots from cd, you coud make a custom cd and set the default timeout to 0 instead of the original 300, then it would boot with no delay. Making a custom cd is described here:

Is it booting from HD or cd; and how are you making the kiosk?

Why do you have users? My knoppix 3.2 cd boots automatically into the knoppix user with no login by default.
In kde control center, login manager, you can set auto login for a user.

I have users because i installed Knoppix to harddisk. Thank you for your input
