Hi

There is prob. a thousand threads similar to mine but when I boot from cd it runs through and it autoconfigures and does all that stuff until the gui should load and then the screen is just blank

I've tried it on a Dell GX270 (Intel display) and it works fine but I think it's my vga card, I've got a ATI Rage fury maxx 64 and debian/redhat pics my screencard up as a pro128 ati chipset....

Is there any workaround to get this fixed, maybe something to force 256 colors/600X800 res on boot or something?
