    SondCard problem!

    Hi again,

    I'm having a problem with my soundcard and i hope somebody could help me!

    Here's the deal: knoppix detects the soundcard and the drivers but i only hear is a anowing sound like a beep. I already went to sndconfig and detects well but after apeears an error -> An error ocurred while writing the config file .

    I leave here the lspci output:

    This card works beautifully with Linux & Knoppix. I just so hapen to have one. Try using the alsa cheat code. If that doesn't get it I would suspect an IRQ conflict or some other configuration problem.

    cat /proc/interrupts

    might tell you something. Also have a look through dmesg to see what there is to see. Post the output of lsmod please.
