Monitor recognition
Hi there,
my monitor is connected to my PC via a BNC-cable. During startup of knoppix no DDC-information is retrieved and standard monitor settings apply.
The "right" monitor name would be "ENC1613" (aka EIZO T761), is there any way to pass this to Knoppix as a startup parameter?

perhaps one of the following cheatcodes will help:
screen=1280x1024 Use specified Screen resolution for X
xvrefresh=60 or vsync=60 Use 60 Hz vertical refresh rate for X
xhrefresh=80 or hsync=80 Use 80 kHz horizontal refresh rate for X
example (type at boot prompt):
knoppix screen=1024x768 vsync=75
Attention: Use only refresh rates Your EIZO will survive.

I don't know a direct way to pass the monitor name to Knoppix.
