Knoppix CD burn speed?

What is the correct speed to burn a CD of Knoppix?

I have downloaded the ISO of Knoppix 3.3-2003-11-19, checked its MD5; that showed my download was complete and valid; then burned it at 16x in Nero5.5 in WinXp.
Trying the testcd command at boot comes up with everything being OK

I also have the copy of Knoppix 3.2 which was coverCD#2 on the october 2003 ed of Australian PCWorld.
This copy of Knoppix runs much faster in my CDrom drive than the copy of 3.3 I burned earlier today.

The correct burn speed is dependent on the media you are burning it on and the hardware you are using for burning. Wether you are burning Knoppix or something else is not an issue. However, Knoppix 3.3 seems to be a lot slower at starting the graphical user interface than 3.2 (regardless of how you burn it).
