right, i found a step-by-step on here for installing my Fujitsu 310 drivers, got through the install and all was going well....got to the last command "./startmodem" and on 'step 3/5' i got a message saying either modem not found or modem not detected.....where did i go wrong? what can i do to fix this??

P.S. i'm a real Linux N00B!!!
