another question:

i have a KNOPPIX 3.3 which i like to remaster. I need UHCI instead of USB-UHCI for my wlan usb adapter.( i even have to compile the driver). therefor i need to RECOMPILE , don't i?

How can i do this?

i put the cd into master and source directories and then chrooted into the source, where i unpacked the kernel-sources. then i applied the patches and tried to recompile the kernel. though it's the same kernel as used in the KNOPPIX 3.3 (kernel 2.4.22-xfs) i wonder, why the cd refuses to boot. (dropping you to a very limited shell)

i have to compile the atmeldriver and need the uhci-module.

and i want to compile the Kontact client for use with kolab server.

Can anyone help? I need this info but unfortunately, my other posts where not commented.
