nope, sure doesn't...
damn 800x600 monitor.
I'm stuck with an 800x600 monitor as well. It turned out that the "Screen=" cheat code made KDE work, but didn't do anything about the four penquins across my screen. After much surfing, I stumbled across a solution... here's my current boot prompt response:
knoppix lang=us screen=800x600 vga=normal
Hopefully that will help. (Yay, I'm finally offering help instead of just begging for it!)
