Using Knoppix to write a config floppy for Woody (stable)

Sorry if this has come up before.
I really want to set up a production server with Debian stable (Woody), but have no time (or willpower) to go through the setup stage of Debian. Is it possible to boot Knoppix on the machine, save the hardware configuration in a file that Debian stable installer understands, and then install Woody? That would be quite a timesaver. If this is possible, how so? Anyone done this before? Thanks.

have a look at gnoppix (based on knoppix but with gnome). It is based on Woody. Stable.
