My problem is that I have an Audigy Player soundcard and if I do alsa_init, I can only listen to music with XMMS, but when trying to watch a film with xine, the sound is grabbled: it goes very slowly and keeps repeating. So with XMMS is fine, but with xine (or no other app) is not. What may be the solution?
