Knoppix 3.4 C't Edition

Hi all, i've a question. I'm with knoppix 3.4 c't and the current kernel is

Linux Knoppix 2.4.23-xfs #1 SMP Mi Dez 10 22:25:03 CET 2003 i686 GNU/Linux

I had seen that this version had the new 2.6 kernel. Have i type some command to enable 2.6 kernel??
What's mean C't??

Sorry i've seem the command :P But now i havent scroll in my mouse hehe, it's normal??
Now if i want to do a hd-install, the kernel installed could be 2.6?? Still i dont know what's mean C't :P

knoppix26 xxxxx where xxxx is the parameters you feed the kernel. Like my 2.6 kernel line is:

knoppix26 lang=us alsa

Sorry. I get terminally confused with this. I managed to test both kernels on the live cd and they're fine. I got the knoppix-installer.tgz file and can't get past that step in order to install with the 2.6 kernel. It'd be nice to do a step by step FAQ for those of us who are not as technically inclined.

Unlike 3.3, 3.4 does not recognize the PC card interface in my IBM Thinkpad 570E.
