I have a working 2GB pcmcia HD (/dev/hde) that I would like to store my persistant home directory on.

I QTparted the drive and gave it one ext3 partition (/dev/hde1).

When I run mkpersistenthome it does not allow me to store my information. It says that it has not found a suitable partition.

Is there a way to direct mkpersistenthome to this drive?
