I'm trying to do a linux install on my machine but i have not had any luck what-so-ever. so i decided to try knoppix. i've gotten further than any tries with it though. i made a bootdisk and it seemed to be working fine then said ACPI: unable to locate RSDP
then said no co-processor found and no math emulation.
all i want to do is install linux on my machine. and i can't for the life of me figure it out. it won't boot to cd so that's out. with the other linux "installs" when continuing to load from floppy it kept reading boot failed, change disks and try again. any help would be greatly appreciated. and hopefully when i get this up and running i will be able to help others with the same probs.
