hello,
i've loaded a copy of 3.1 onto a computer with absolutely nothing on it (not even dos) and more to the point it appears to work with the exception of displaying colors. It appears that colors are inverted because there is a lot of white where i suppose black would be.

Could someone help me identify the issue because it's really hard to figure out anything staring at those colors!

oh and i am new to here and to linux itself. thanks for having me.

knoppix xmodule=vesa worked. found it after giving up looking.. apologies.
