How to default run 'home=scan' without additional cheat code

I tried to add 'home=scan' at the second line of syslinux.cfg in boot.img but it seems nothing changed.

I also tried to modify /etc/init.d/knoppix-autoconfig line 914 from 'HOMEDIR="$(getbootparm home)"' to 'HOMEDIR="scan"' but it failed too.

Does Anyone know how to make perisistant home without every time typing 'knoppix home=scan' at start up?

You can use knoppix-customize to make a custom CD with the boot parameters you want. A good description is here:
