My friend had a total brain fart and forgot her new Windows password.

I've booted her computer with Knoppix and tried to copy her SAM file and Sytem file out of her system32/config folder and into my usb jump drive. Unfortunetly when I try to take the System file off my jump drive while in my windows machine, it says that the file is corrupted, etc.

Any ideas why it's not copying correctly, or what I'm doing wrong?
