Knoppix usually came with Unstable version Of Debian. For example I am having a Knoppix 3.3 version in which some packages are under testing or unstable Debian.
Some ppl wud like to go for only Stable version of Debian like My Boss.
When u r customizing the KNOPPIX ,.It is using /etc/apt/sources.list and /var/lib/apt/sources for getting packages from stable or unstable or testing servers whatever it is.
I think by modifying those files ,so that it will get only packages from server containg stable debian packages.(by removing all those mirror lists with unstable and testing from /etc/apt/sources.list and /var/lib/apt/sources).we can get a stable version of Linux. Will this idea work out?.Before I try this out ,I want to know whether this idea will work or not.
