duel cdrom system

i have twocdroms in my system cdrom a is a cdrw it is the bootcdrom aswell cdrom b is a 50x cdrom this is the cdrom i wish to boot knoppix from but i cant where should i start looking?

did you check to see if your bios is set up to boot from two. I've heard of some that will only boot from cd roms that are slected.

I have a dual cd rom set up also but it works fine for me.

Make sure the CDROM is slaved to the primary master hard drive. When you choose boot from CD the bios checks for a CDROM on the IDE bus in sequential order so: hd0,hd1,hd2,hd3. hd0 and hd1 are on the primary IDE port and will be checked first.

it works just as you said thanks monkeyman i can now burn cdrs in knoppix i hope any idea how to get the iso i have stored on /dev/hda1 ?

If you right-click and choose mount for that partition KB3 will have no problems burning the ISOs. You just have to browse from root ( / )

/mnt/hda1/path to ISO.
