Hibernate

Is there a way to make my knoppix-on-HDD to hibernate EXACTLY like Hiberantion in win 2k/XP?

the only way to have it hibernate exactly like windows would need it to BE windows. As for hibernation being a Live Linux CD I don't think it would be to possible.

I have Knoppix installed on hard disk, so a hibernation would really be VERY useful for me. So, is there a way to be done?... please...
